Oakmont Bubble
includes residents of oakmont, pennsylvania (primarily around oakmont country club) that believe just because they live in oakmont they are instantly better than anyone else in the area. it’s “high cl-ss thinking” from people that aren’t really that affluent. people displaying this kind of behavior are known to be caught in the “oakmont bubble.”
a: “i’m not talking to you because you live in verona. you obviously don’t deserve my time.”
b: “you’re just p-ssed because you’ll never have as much money as people from fox chapel. get out of the oakmont bubble and get real.”
