Oldtaku
a portmanteau of the words “old” and “otaku”: i.e. an old person that comes off as disenfranchised with otaku culture; seemingly uninterested in current trends in anime fandom, but is still p-ssionate about old anime because “they just don’t make ’em like they used to!”.
jack: so what do you think of the summer line-up? anything you’re looking forward to seeing?
ben: pfft, i’m not interested in that moé weeaboo cr-p. cowboy bebop was the greatest anime ever made! the j-panese should know that by now. why do they even bother trying?
