should be renamed “chinese triangle,” because the most famous triangle in mathematics was discovered by chinese mathematicians more than three centuries before blaise pascal was born.
the pascal’s triangle is hidden with hundreds of beautiful numerical patterns and geometric shapes, which unfortunately have had very few practical uses.
