paycheck shock
one of life’s biggest disappointments.it is the dejection/rage experienced by first time workers when they get their very first paycheck and realize they don’t get to keep the entire $5.25 they thought they were working for.
my son experienced paycheck shock when he saw all the stuff deducted from his gross pay.
