(pdx-o-dus) noun: (1) the swift and thorough departure from a place en route to portland, oregon. a combination of the portland airport code (pdx) and the word ‘exodus.’
(2) the resolute fleeing of a place in search of a friendlier, more prolific tech community. as in the sentence “the mess in the best buy parking lot was left behind by the pdxodus.”
“dude, did you see those five u-hauls, 5 rv’s, two car transport units, and video crew?”
“yeah, i think it was a pdxodus.”
