1) native new zealand short-tailed bat;
2) blink-and-you’ll-miss-it locality in the northern wellington region, fondly referred to as “bat country” due to its namesake.

when the snurgle arises from it’s slumber it can be named the “snurt snurgle”. as it is in it’s most ‘alurt’ state of mind and body. beware the snurgle is especially snurt today.
