legend has it that those who carry this name also carries the pennison curse of misfortune. it seems that those who even marry into the family carry the curse as though they were born with it. this curse consumes of bad luck,financial troubles,outlaws,gun slingers, poachers, gypsies , and yes alcoholics,ect. those who do make it and break the curse are truely lucky,but still strugle to stay ahead. most originate from the southern coast of louisianna but can now be found in other lower southern states as well.
