describes an animal, typically a dog or a cat that licks you to death, particularly around the ears at 5:00am wanting you to get up and let them outside, or when they want to play. example of the word in a sentence;

my dog luke is a perorist (peh-ro-rist-male). who enjoys terrorizing me with his licks of love! i have heard his perorista (peh-ro-rista-female)friend does the same.
