this is the step up from a gontermaniac, being a “fan” of the hilariously awful “art” of david gonterman, self-described as “the internet’s most dangerous cartoonist!” unlike gontermaniacs, phrack wh-r-s follow his delightful antics and cr-ppy art obsessively, checking his pages daily and constantly critiquing them online.
the derivation is from davey’s made-up non-swear words, “shotz!!” and “phrack!!!”
