Phuza Wednesday

as ‘phuza’ is the traditional zulu term for drink, it follows that ‘phuza wednesday’ is the act of drinking (most commonly binge drinking) on a wednesday night. and can be applied to any night of the week really.
this has become a burgeoning tradition among south african youth, a mini weekend on a wednesday
