generally speaks with a lowping northern lilt, eg they would claim to hail from “eshington” and speak of a “bonny laird” (lad) while rolling their rs, eg unlucky alf from the fast show.
ex-footballers jackie and bobby charlton are obvious pityakkers, as is actor robson green, although he is now officially a posh geordie, unless it suits him.
