when someone insults you or could do, based on appearance or att-tude, but by making a comment back you’ve “played in to it.”
for example when a midget dresses up as a oompa loompa, they are playing in to their appearance, by making it into a joke.
person 1: yo man did you see the small guy?
person 2: yeah man, he knows how to play in to it.
