Pocket Decline

a pocket decline is the act of letting a friend request, on a social networking website, expire in your inbox. this is usually done in order to prevent someone you don’t like from being your friend on said social networking website without offending them.

the phrase “pocket decline” is derived from the phrase pocket veto, where a lawmaker (with veto power) to allow a bill to expire by not signing it, but also not rejecting it, in order to save face.

person b: you mean, stalker brittany?
