the act of causing injury or death to oneself, or to another person/group of people, while playing pokémon go. this occurs when the pokémon go player is so engrossed in the game, they are completely unaware of their surroundings.
jerry: “yo! you hear about the guy who stepped in front of a train while playing pokémon go?”
rod: “yeah man! pokéfail all the way! you hear about that chick who crashed her car into the children’s cancer hospital? she was driving and playing pokémon go at the same time!”
jerry: “mega pokéfail, dude! hey, did you hear about the ahhhhhhhhh!!!”
jerry and rod died that day falling off a cliff while playing pokémon go. super pokéfail!!!
