pomentum
a typo for momentum, or the product of m-ss and velocity of an object. in physics, this vector quant-ty is represented by the letter p for some reason, hence the tendency to make such a typo.
the reason it much harder to stop a train than it is to stop a car is due to the former’s very high m-ss and velocity, giving it greater pomentum.
