an adjective used to describe a length of hair, typically at the back of one’s head, that can be tied into a ponytail.
my hair is almost long enough to be ponytailable; i think it will be in a month.
hair that’s long enought to pull back into a pony tail.
my friend carol told my hair dresser she can cut off a decent amount of hair as long as it’s still pony tailable.
