a stretch of time where you make a lot of poor decisions based on fear. you are in a rut because you are a ‘poot b-tt’ meaning you are weak, soft or lack toughness. poot b-tt is a term often used in the african-american community to challenge someone. poot b-tt, weak, soft, afraid, scared
man, i’ve been in a pootb-tt rut for the last several months. i backed out of a job opportunity because i didn’t want to move and i decided not to get engaged because i was afraid to get married. i am such an idiot!

the angle of approach and hang time you have while attempting any sort of jump. you need the correct hangulation to take off and stick that landing.
