a euphemistic term invented by corporations to get around having to tell you that your -ssets are now worthless.
“h-llo, orbitz? yeah, i missed my flight.”
“okay, sir, then your ticket is now pro-rated.”
“pro-rated? does that mean i get first cl-ss?”
“no, it means your ticket isn’t worth d-ck.”
