this is a chronic condition similar to carple tunnel syndrome where taking too many personal profile pictures in front of the mirror creates nerve damage in the out stretched arm where the camera is.

also, can be used to describe the stump of an arm left after a photo was or wasn’t croped when people take their own profile pic in the mirror.
sam didn’t know that he was going to get profile arm from taking only 50 pics for his social website profile, but his dead arm and the wait in the emergency room convinced him otherwise.

tina should have croped her pic further because you can still see her profile arm in the photo.
