a person in the media that considers themselves qualified to opine on the merits of anything but particularly politics. usually this person is a lawyer that’s tired of lawyering but can be from any profession. this person’s opinion is usually followed by a “face palm” moment or a simple doh! yet they -ssume their opinion is worth more than others.
