there may be infatuation involved prior to the quasirelationship, but once a couple decides to make it official, there may be feelings of awkwardness and regret subsequently leading to a breakup.
quasirelationships are often very brief, lasting only a week or a few weeks and maybe sometimes longer. they are prevalent among the inexperienced, young, and the immature.
