1. a proposal of help that is tied closely to reciprocal action and mutual benefit, i.e., a returned favor, as is “you scratch my back and i’ll scratch yours”.
example: “jack, your quidproquosal is that that if i hire your sister you’ll tell the irs about my ex-boyfriend skimming from his business, right?”
he wasn’t really interested in helping, it was just another of his quidproquosals.
