Quixt
verb; to send a text, only to realize that the person you sent it to has no intention of replying.
verb; to read a text message, set the phone aside, and either delay or eliminate the option of response. can often annoy the sender of the text message.
i waited by the phone for 30 minutes for her reply, only to realize that i’d been quixt when there was no response.
the awkward subject of the text message made me immediately decide to quixt it.
