die darstellung des j-paners mr. yunioshi (gespielt von mickey rooney) in dem hollywood-film “breakfast at tiffany´s” mit audrey hepburn. die figur des mr. yunioshi repräsentiert eine racially offensive, d.h. die figur wird äußerst lächerlich dargestellt, spiegelt ein beleidigendes bild eines j-panischen menschen und diskriminiert damit eine ganze ethnie. in den usa waren j-paner aufgrund der ereignisse im 2. weltkrieg schlecht angesehen und wurden zu einem feindbild, das in etlichen hollywood-produktionen zu erkennen ist.
