the act of making a toilet stop in the middle of another action in public view. so named after paula radcliffe stopped at the side of the road, squatted and evacuated herself in front of millions of people during the 2005 london marathon.
mary had to do a radcliffe halfway down the aisle on her wedding day. she’d been busting to go for hours, and now shame was not enough to stop her.
