re-giftee
noun. a person who received a gift from a re-gifter. usually he/she does not know that the thing given is a re-gift because the gift giver (who originally bought the wretched thing) and the re-giftee are usually not related, or have a needle-in-a-haystack chance of knowing each other (as carefully planned by the scheming re-gifter).
uhm, i hate to be the one to tell you this, but that pink and brown scarf that your boyfriend gave you… he did not buy it. you’re a re-giftee, hon.
