a phrase used to describe a movie that looks mildly entertaining and whatchable, but not worth a $10+ movie ticket. the movie instead will be watched via a red box $1 movie rental. thus ensuring you still get to view said production in a relatively timely manner, but at a cost that is commensurate with your expectations.
