Red Mage

1. a cl-ss in the final fantasy series that uses white and black magic as well as swords. being a jack of all trades but master of none, the red mage cannot learn all the top level spells, but can learn the fundamental ones. red mages are depicted as wearing a red outfit consisting of boots, a cape, pants and a shirt, and the trademark feathered hat.

2. in 8-bit theater, red mage is a d&d stat freak that levels up and is always rolling dice, busting out puns, and leveling himself up. he’s obsessed with experience points and bases everything around d&d.
the red mage is my favorite cl-ss because his hat adds +3 to style.
commonly seen nowadays in the hilarious sprite comic 8-bit theatre. is known for his min/maxing of abilities, and being a master of versatility. a jack of all trades, can switch around stats at will. is burdened by the bane of all twinkers, a low charisma stat.
“my plans always work, it’s the laws of physics that get in my way!”
the red mage follows a written set of rules derived from various rpgs and handbooks. he is versatile seeing as he knows both black and white (arcane and divine) magic, but does not specialize in any. he is a fairly skilled swordsman. he is a master at the ancient and holy art of min/maxing. the art of removing points from one skill and adding them to another in order to become more versatile and powerfull. unfortunately, his charisma is simply abysmal.
red mage did not want to cast a spell because it would make him less versatile.
in the first final fantasy game, a potentially well-balanced mix of fighter, black mage, and white mage.

in 8-bit theater, a transplant from the d & d universe obsessed with statistics and not much good in actual combat, but a great deal of good for witty comments…especially when he’s the b-tt of the joke.
“i am…the red mage!”
(cheesy lensflare, go!)
a mage cloaked in red with a flowing cape. capable of using elementary-level black and white magic. can often be described as a jack-of-all-trades.

in 8 bit theatre, a pack-rat-type character who obsesses with knowledge. has taken to memorizing every player’s guide, etc. in an attempt to achieve immortality through his intellectual findings. brings about lame puns like there’s no tomorrow. as a result, can also be the very alternate definition of a geek.
red mage: oh, it’s quite simple really. i took a variety of low-impact flaws to add points to my character point pool. thus, i maximize my powers and minimize my disadvantages.
a man who really enjoys having s-x with women on their period.
“man, that’s the third girl dave f-cked this month who was on her period, he must be a red mage!”
1. anyone who behaves like red mage from 8-bit theatre.
-a box of chocolate with the lid open is present at a friday night magic meeting. one of the players is tempted-

alwyn: is that a roll against will or fort-tude?
simon: get a load of the red mage!
