robo-gifting
the act of buying large quant-ties of a usually cheap item to give as unwanted gifts to weary relatives and friends. a robo-gifter also has to keep a spreadsheet or ledger of what gifts they have given and to whom so they don’t give the same gift to the same person on different occasions.
i know that i am a victim of robo-gifting, because half of the people that clara knows got a bottle of hand sanitizer for christmas, including me!
