as selling people things in our consumer culture is about wants, not needs; appealing to ego and irrational desires, not demonstrating the long-term value of owning the product.
salesmanipulationship is about deceit, coercion, and putting someone into a pressure-cooker so they are unable to think critically on what they are about to do.
