Samaritanism

samaritanism describes good actions that are often done by people who believe they are genuinely good themselves.
while such behavior is appreciable, due to the way the world works presently, it has become more of an annoyance than a virtue.
people who fall under this description should be called samaritans.
bob: “john really likes to help out everyone he sees huh…”

samaritanism in action…

mark: “he’s just competing for the nicest person award. f-cking samaritans.”
