Sangheili
the sangheili (latin: macto cognatus, meaning “i honor my father’s blood”) are a reptilian-like alien race of fierce, proud, strong, agile, intelligent warriors and skilled combat tacticians. sangheili are named after their home planet, sanghelios. known to humans as covenant elites. one of the main enemies in the halo universe (video games of which include halo (combat evolved), halo 2, halo 3, halo 3:odst and halo reach.
