: the sudden onset of fear, terror, and impending doom when you finally hear a good song while scanning stations on your car radio, which results in you clumsily thrusting your fat finger toward the scan b-tton before the station is lost forever.
i finally found a station not playing katy perry, and had a total scanic attack and plowed into the back of a tractor trailer.
