schmockey

the game of ice hockey played by females.

hockey (played by males) is a vastly different game, with different rules (i.e. bodychecking), than played by females. thus, schmockey, should be called by a different name just as softball/fastball is termed differently than baseball.

the term schmockey is a combination of the words she, hockey and mockery.

the she represents the fact that schmockey is a sport played by females.

the hockey represents the similarities schmockey has to hockey.

the mockery represents the fact that schmockey is a mockery of the sport of hockey.
as stated by a hockey player:

“we would absolutely slaughter the schmockey team, without question.”
