where one scratches at their skin till it bleeds. where one scratches under their long hair and produces a red irritated area. usually done by self-harmers who are less self-confident to do wrist or thigh cuts.
i can’t go to the hair-stylist because i scratch-harm.
i can’t pull up my hair on my side because then people will discover i am currently scratch-harming.
