scriptural (n): a reference to a body of written work that is considered of cannonical nature.
examples: for the human soul, the bible is considered “scriptural” based on the word “scripture:
a car repair manual to repair a specific vehicle may be called the “scripture” for a specific repair technique used for that specific year make and model of vehicle
