someone who is semute is usually, nearly mute. they usually don’t talk, but if they do, they usually don’t say much. semute can be used to describe someone in general, or can be used to describe someone at any given time that they fit the definition. semute is a portmanteau of “semi” and “mute”, pr-nounced “sem-yoot” or “semi-oot”
