a game much beloved of students whereby the ultimate purpose is to end up in bed with a total stranger. as you do. basically you turn up to the pub and get given a number (all blokes have even numbers and all girls have odds or vice versa). from this relative safety of anonymity you can leave a message up on a board, something of profound intellectual significance like “number 31 you are really fit” or “fancy a sh-g number 25?” hopefully there will be so much booze going round that s-x is inevitable, and you’re guaranteed to wake up in the morning feeling slightly disgusted with yourself and quite possibly an std. great fun.

the process of sh-gging a male or female then tagging them in a social networking post in the morning after the deed is done, thereby making all social media aware that you have enjoyed s-xual relations with that person. pictures, videos and locations that can be added to the post make the sh-g tag more meaningful.

a girl wears gummy bracelets aka ‘sh-g tags’, and when a boy breaks one of these bracelets it means that the girl has to do a particular s-x act with that boy. if a girl wears these bracelets, depending on the trend, it can show what she is willing to do or what she has experience of doing.

they were originally an 80’s accessory but by the 90’s they became known as ‘sh-g tags’ and in some area’s today they are commonly sold as such. similar ideas have been going around for decades, such as if you pull a ring pull off a can it granted you a kiss, if you peeled a label from a beer bottle it meant you’d get lucky – for the most part these were silly games, not taken seriously. sh-g tags are a trend amongst teens all over the world, and like most trends they reappear every few years in different forms.

different types, colours and thickness’s mean different s-xual acts, this differs from group to group, but commonly black means full s-x, brown means -n-l, yellow hugging, purple kissing and so on. as the trend takes off stores start to stock different types so the meanings become more complex or the meaning is given more emphasis – e.g. a thicker bracelet may be seen as more of a serious promise of a s-x act when broken.

for the most part this trend is a silly fad followed by young teens interested in s-x, like giggling at photos of br–sts in s-x ed cl-sses, however there is serious concern about premature s-xualization of young teens.
girl will say to a boy – ‘i’ll let you snap my sh-gtag’ – then offer up whatever colour shows what she is willing to do, the boy snaps the sh-gtag and the girl panics thinking it may mean he expects her to carry through with the promise.

a sh-g tag is a simple question list or form that you fill out stating your s-xual likes and dislikes. future bedpartners can use it as a manual so that you don’t have to go through the annoying procedure of finding out all these things about the other yourself. actually, it’s sort of a practical joke in most cases.
