Shockscare
a shockscare is the basic wimp out scare used in horror movies and haunted houses, so as to not actually work for a scare. typically this scare will cause audience members to shriek and/or jump.
1.a clown pops out of nowhere.
2.a zombie popping out of nowhere.
i.e. “that movie wasn’t scary at all just a bunch of shockscares after another!”
