verb; when driving around looking for a parking sp-ce and as you pull up to one you thought was empty, you see that it is in fact taken already by a short car.
my friend and zipped down the first row of parking sp-ces to secure a spot we thought was empty, only to be short car’d.
since i drive a short car, i make sure to not pull into a parking sp-ce all the way as to not short car other people.
