a positive public acknowledgement of a friend.

1. shout out and hip hop history – fyi:
dna, coined the phrase “shout outs” in the fall of 1984; while producing a rap radio show on the former whbi 105.9fm radio station in new york city.

2. on sat-rday-may 25,1985 dna created, produced and hosted his own, all rap music – radio show with his -ssistant dj-hank love and various other djs he help to discover… the radio show was called ” the dna-hank love show…” from (may,1985 – november,1992)

3. note: where the phrase “shout-out / shout-outs”, which dna coined became “world-famous…” (now this is hip hop history…)
