Silkin
“the silkin” is a poker hand named after a particular new zealand poker player. it describes the hole cards 4 and 2 in a game of texas hold’em poker.
traditionally known as a particularly bad hand and often mucked pre flop, this player coined the term “the silkin” by playing 4 – 2 very aggressively and taking pleasure in revealing a bluff and mocking other players when folding a better hand to “the silkin”.
