a portmanteau of simultaneous and listen, a simulisten occurs when two or more people in an irc channel, on facebook, or on a message board decide to listen to an alb-m simultaneously. usually accompanied by unanimous praise and multiple users quoting the lyrics.

billy: sh-t yeah bro gimme a sec to queue it up

billy: f-ck yeah
