etymology: phrase derived from the actions of steven slater, a jetblue airlines employee who, after being abused verbally and physically by a p-ssenger while the plane was on the ground, used the plane’s intercom system to curse out the p-ssenger. then he grabbed a beer from the beverage cart and deployed an emergency escape slide to jump from the plane.
this job sucks so bad that one of these days i’m sliding the chute. it’ll be epic, dude!
