to excessively ramble on and on about b-n-l, annoying sh-t in an effort to sound extra-intelligent, or to impress one’s peers. indulgant ‘name dropping’ is one of the hallmark characteritics of a stage-5 slobbergoater, especially if the said name drop is totally unsolicited and incorporated into normal conversation in an effort to glorify the existence of the individual dropping the name. references to obscure- or just plain bad- literature, academia, film, or other cultural artifacts is another hallmark.
