snotfest
a collective term for when a group of people (e.g. family, work colleagues) who are co-located suffer from a bad cold that results in copious sneezing and excessive nasal mucus.
basically, a festival of snot.
we were supposed to go to alton towers at the weekend but the family had a snotfest so we had to cancel.
