soft saturday
soft sat-rdays are when you take a wednesday off as a vacation day, thus creating a mini weekend during the week. it is also acceptable to refer to this wednesday vacation as a soft sunday. soft sat-rday’s also create soft thursdays/fridays out of monday and tuesday respectively (gl-ss half full situation).
sorry i can’t make that meeting on wednesday, i’ve got a soft sat-rday planned.
