sound-tracking is the effect that happens when your doing something fun or worth remembering, and you have great music in the background. when you hear that music again it takes you back to where you were having fun. when you do this on purpose your creating a sound track, or the act of sound-tracking.
on a road trip with a good friend, you pop in a cd with music you both like, and both of you are grooving to the music. later you hear that cd again and it takes you back to that cool moment in time where you were.
the act of playing your own music over everything else.
