the opposite of a honeymoon. the point in which someone newly wed (typically the groom), realizes that spending a week with their new partner will be torture, immediately triggering buyers remorse and ruining the more than likely overpriced vacation.
while standing on the balcony in hawaii, in what many people would consider paradise, chad contemplated what a mistake he made and quickly realized this honeymoon was actually a sourmoon.
