Spirit Drum and Bugle Corps
a drum and bugle corps originally from atlanta, georgia, known best for its entertaining, often bluesy music and its long-standing traditions in the drum corps world. the symbol of spirit is the delta, and its trademark color is baby blue. a contender for finals since their 4th place finish in 1979, spirit has never failed (except maybe in 2008) to give the audience exactly what they want from a drum corps show.

billy is at a dci event, and sees his friend johnny run up to him, then notices that johnny’s face is missing.
johnny: “oh my god, i just heard spirit play ‘georgia’ in the lot! it was so awesome!! they blew my face right off!”
billy: “i can’t wait to wait to have my face blown off! hey look, spirit is coming on!”
-spirit drum and bugle corps takes the field for compet-tion, starts the show, and plays their opening hit.-
johnny and billy: “whoah!!!”
